INTEGRATED NATURAL FARMING - OUR JOURNEY
(Valam Organic Farm - Veliyanallur, Cheyyar, Tiruvanmalai Dt, Tamil Nadu)
A Team of 13 members purchased around 35 acres of barren land and converted the land to do natural organic farming.

We started the cleaning process
ROAD AND CANAL
We laid 1000+ meters of road for easy accessibility to all corners of the land
We dig 2000+ meters of canal by viewing the old map available in the village and also using the FMB

Constructed rest room and used biodigester instead on normal septic tank.

Yeast Manure ( Yeast, cow dung, Jaggery, ground nut cake, Rice bran ) to develop plankton in the fist pond naturally.
Also used horn silica, waste decomposer, EM & Humic Acid. Also prepared 5 leaves pest control.

Cultivated 4 acres of sugarcane using sub-surface drip irrigation method.

Planted 600+ varieties of Trees, small trees, shurbs, tubers, climbers, grass and water floaters. Which includes Exotic fruits, Timber, Medicinal plants.
Planted around 1000+ Indian palm trees & 800 Yalpanam palm tree around the border of the land
Planted around 1000+ teak trees around the border and both sides of the road.

We build two ponds (50 cents and 30 cents) to store the rain water.
